Which watches are suitable for an auction?

Both new and older / used watches are eligible for auction. The condition of the watches can of course have an influence on the selling price. Watches from popular manufacturers are particularly in demand. These include, for example, Omega, Rolex and Patek Philippe.

If you have papers, a box, warranty certificates, etc., be sure to keep everything and bring it with you to the appraisal. The same goes for repairs of any kind. The origin of the watch plays a vital role in the fight against counterfeiting when selling. Luxury watches without papers or similar are therefore difficult to sell.

These watches are not suitable for auction

Selling watches of famous fashion creators such as Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. in an auction is not possible, because the quality of the movements is often not enough to appeal to collectors and enthusiasts.

In general, watches for sale in an auction should have a certain value, otherwise the effort and return are no longer in proportion and the sale is not profitable.
